- There is no fee to apply for a waiting list.
- Full-Term (2 year) Green Cart Permit application fee: $75.00
- There are no license or permit application fees for honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Services who present a New York State Peddler's Certificate, or for the surviving spouse or domestic partner of a veteran with this certificate.

Priority Groups
Local law gives priority to U.S. veterans and people with a disability when offering green cart permits. Priority is given in the following order:
- U.S. veteran with a disability
- Person with a disability
- U.S. veteran
